Debut | YMTH | RFYL | Coel | Wisconsin Shows - June 14 - 16, 2001
bbbelmer submitted the following review of the Oshkosh show June 14. Just discovered your site. I love it! I saw The Producers this past Thursday night in Oshkosh, WI at an event called Waterfest. They were the middle act between Off broadway ("Stay In Time") and The Romantics. Despite some terrible sound problems (specifically, a bad bass monitor for Kyle) they endured, and won over the crowd with the strength of their music, and their professionalism. Kyle made the best of a bad situation with his rig, and kept his composure. After the show, my friend Len and I had a chance to talk with Kyle for several minutes. He is incredibly friendly, and thanks us sincerely for coming to see them play. Imagine! I talked to Van, Bryan and Wayne as well. Van seemed rather quiet, [maybe] because he is naturally introverted... Bryan was very nice, and was helpful in telling fans how to obtain their catalog of music. Wayne, too, was nice. He almost seemed a bit overwhelmed that there are people who still care so much about his band. All in all, it was a great night. Just thought you might like to know. Cheers! Bryan |
